Awaiting Happier Times.

I told someone the other day if you want your marriage to be tested send your husband to law school. Oh man, I couldn't believe that came out of my mouth, well actually I could I just couldn't believe that I had the courage to admit it out loud, and to be so honest about my life. We have had some rough weeks and I am greatly looking forward to a break. I feel like life's challenges really don't pour on our life all at once, really just a drizzle through out the duration. I don't know which one is worse.

Wasn't conference just great though? It always make me think no matter how bad I have it someone has it worse. Also that things are hard and they will continue to be so have patients and at some point, hopefully, maybe you will come to the light at the end of the tunnel and that hard stuff will have been worth it.

As for now I am bracing myself for the hard stuff, muddling through life day to day just trying to see the big picture and to find happiness in the little things. I love my life, just not the law school part and I will eagerly await the day when I have a husband who no longer has to work all day, go to school sat night, and study the remainder of the night...happier times will come!

  1. love you annmarie. i've been reading this book, http://www.amazon.com/Love-Life-See-Good-Days/dp/B005H3QKO0 and thought of you. sometimes it's our biggest challenge to be "happy now," just like pres. uchtdorf said. but i'm sure that law school graduation will be one huge "golden ticket." wish i was there to help cheer you up. hang in there.
