Letherby's Ice Cream

John and David had been in town so before they left my dad wanted to take everyone out to ice cream. I think grandpa and Ellen and Jeff Clason were also in town so our huge clan went to Letherby's and the Foell's joined as well. Now Max has a great love for ice cream, I think he is 80% made up of it. He was so excited to get a table and to order his favorite blue ice cream. We didn't get Noah anything because he is a baby and would just eat a little of anything, actually by the end I had ordered him some milk! My dad loves ice cream sundays and Larry has a special bond with Letherby's. Growing up he rarely got to go out but sometimes their family would go to ice cream and they would go to the Letherby's that was close to their house in West Valley Utah. He doesn't have wonderful childhood memories but one good one is his trips there so it is always a treat when we go.

Love this one of him, he really dug right into Max's left overs. Those big brown eyes get me every
time.  He is getting so big 18 months in September!

This is so funny, you can see Max trying hard to say cheese to me but then screaming bloody murder because how dare he have to share with his baby brother! 3 year olds are so great.

Glad we caught that face on camera. Only a mother could laugh through that because it is such a common occurrence. Babies and toddlers at their finest! Such a fun night with everyone. Love getting together with my family even though sometimes I feel like a traveling circus with these 2 littles.

Summer Day At The Zoo

We went to the Zoo this week with our friends. It was HOT and I don't recall seeing to much life in the animals. The tigers were out and some bears but everything else in the tiny zoo looked dead, mostly because it was a typical summer day probably in the 90s. The kids ran around and then we hit the park after by the zoo but didn't last long. Time to hit the pool!

We were missing 2 babies in their strollers! Look how big they all are getting!!

Busy Few Weeks...

Some how I got roped in to helping with a super saturday even though I am currently serving as the 2nd counselor in young women's. We wanted to do something different so I said I would do these walking stones that you can make and put in your garden. They did turn out cute, but I had been running errands like a crazy women getting all the supplies for the event on Saturday. My kids were troopers going from home depot to Lowes or Walmart. I treated them to the outside play place at McDonalds after one errand run. I tried to get a sweet shot of my new pink pants I've fallen in love with via a slide at the play place, super glamorous.

We also managed to go to the park one morning as well. I am finding that as long as I get my kids needs met they will happily let me drag them to stores. It is hard fulfilling these church callings with young kids but I am finding joy in serving people of our ward. I hope my kids learn and see their parents serve and will do it as they get older as well. Look how cute that Noah boy is conquering the slide and climbing like a big boy! He can get around the park so well now, I am almost confident that he will not fall.

Children's Museum In San Fran

We were getting a big antsy around here so on Saturday morning we woke up and decided to try out this museum in San Francisco. It isn't in the city it's on the other side of the bay by the Golden Gate bridge. The ride their was a little rough, are kids are still getting the hang of driving anywhere longer then 20 minutes. But we made it and had a fun time. It is in an old army base so there was all these different wild life play exhibits and different things about tide pools, life cycles, very earthy and very san fran. There was this old boat they could get on and some cool play structures. There also was a sand pit with a ton of tractors so we spent the most time there. Overall I think they had fun. We wanted to try to hit the city but Noah fell asleep as we were driving away and I thought we better not chance it and just drive home. He did sleep the whole time which was so nice and we ended up grabbing lunch back home. It was a nice change of scenery.

Love that view of the bridge. It was cloudy but I was able to still get the shot. It was also so nice to be somewhere cool for the day. We got home and it went up 20 degrees! Refreshing day!
