Currently with Noah....

(Noah's Joy School photo 2015)

Well my spit fire Noah...you are crazy! We love you so much and really we couldn't imagine life without you. The other day an older man saw you and said, man I bet he is the kinda kid you can't turn your back on for a second...I said dead on! You are that kid my love!! You are wild, and silly, and care free with just a hint of naughtiness that you like to let come out especially when you think it will be fun. You sit in time out often, and usually cry and say you will never ever do it again, which is almost 100% never true. We love your big brown eyes and your toothy smile. You say the most ridiculous things every. Today you said primary was boring...and I asked you what boring meant and you said it meant things you didn't want to do! Ha! You are clever and always are up for fun. The other day you were in the bathroom and I asked if you were every going to obey the rules, and you told me no, that you were allergic to obeying rules and then you laughed and said isn't that so funny?! Oh boy you are just the craziest 3 1/2 year old I know! Here is what's up with you...

  • Love going to joy school 2 times a week
  • Obsessed with the color green...everything has to be green
  • Still has a paci and bottle :/
  • loves to play until you are over it then destroy whatever you were playing with
  • In the bad transition of nap phase, still need one but fights it unless you fall asleep in the car then we all jump for joy!
  • Loves to escape the house with scout, adventures over to neighbors yards
  • Likes doing magic tricks
  • Goes into great drapers room and turns all his lights on and off
  • Is a good eater...especially cold hot dogs and chips and cheese
  • Likes to color on things :)
  • potty trained!
  • Loves bubble baths
  • Usually your arms or legs are covered with pen or a stamp
  • Loves to get his hands copied in the photo copier
  • Has to be watched like a hawk, will wonder off in 1 second if allowed!
  • Has no stranger danger, we are working on that!
  • Loves his green blankie...takes it everywhere
  • Became a great little swimmer over the summer. Loves the hot tub!
  • Loves Max and Scout
  • Loves animals, especially dogs...always asking for one.
  • Loves going to the park and cruising around on his trike.
  • Loves hanging out with grandma doing play dough
  • Asks for the ipad when he is tired
  • Wakes up a lot in the night asking for someone to lay by him
  • Great vocabulary and memory!
Oh Noah we love you lots! You make me exhausted and I hope as you turn 4 your constant need to bolt or get lost will lessen but your funny joyful personality will stay the same. We are working on being more obedient and listening the first time around. You try to be very helpful and you have a great passion for just about everything. You love to be tickled, and tackled and kissed and you have a great laugh! We love you so much!!

Noah's 3rd Birthday!!

We celebrated Noah's 3rd birthday with all our little friends. It was such a fun night filled with good friends, a bunch of little kids running wild and playing and of course has some awesome decor! Noah is really into "bad guys" and "good guys" so we threw him a super hero party!! It was so perfect and he was so excited when he woke up from his nap to see the house all decorated just for him! My favorite thing of the night was watching him blow out his candles and get sung Happy Birthday to. His face light up with everyone who loves him dearly sang to him. I almost cried because I knew in that moment he felt so loved and special. One reason I love to celebrate anything but mostly birthdays is because it's a great way to make that one special person feel so loved that day. He most certainly felt that and hopefully will remember a little bit of that day!

Some of my favorite things about Noah are:
  • His big brown eyes
  • His big toothy smile!!
  • His chubby hands and feet
  • He has an infectious laugh
  • He loves his family and always talks about our family
  • He loves to read books!
  • He gets feisty and will tell me he doesn't like me when he is in a bad mood
  • He is a good sleeper and takes great 3 hour naps daily...which we all need him to do!
  • He plays well outside...unless its quiet then he typically has escaped the backyard and is running around the streets.
  • He is a parrot and it's funny to hear the things he will repeat. He loves to say "Hey mom I love your guts"
  • He head bonks
  • Still loves his paci and bottle
  • Yesterday he yelled at me I needed to potty train him
  • Loves water!
  • Loves to destroy anything and everything.
  • Loves to fight the bad guys
  • Is protective of his siblings.
There are so many things I love about Noah. He makes me tired and his very testing of the limits as well. He gets lost a lot or hides and won't come out. Im sure he has taken some years off my life for that! He escapes nursery almost weekly and has the catch phrase down of..."Because I really really want to!!" that is his answer to every question. He has colored all over his body, walls, and bedding more times then I'd like to admit. He is ticklish and playful and will use those big set of teeth if he wants on you! He loves his grandma and grandpa and calls Great grandpa "Great Draper"...it's the cutest thing alive.

Noah my dear, I love you SO much! I love to kiss your chubby cheeks and squeeze you hard when I am hugging you. I love the way you take a drink and then sigh loud like it was such a satisfying drink! I love that you are curious and smart and are always up for doing something like going to the park or taking a hike. I hope we can teach you to behave better and to not escape so much. I hope one day I don't have to lock you in my bedroom when I am putting the other kids to bed just to make sure you're nice and safe in there and won't run off! I hope that you never lose your ability to laugh or to play well with other kids. I hope you and Max have the best brother relationship and that you can be best friends together. Your dad and I love you so much and couldn't imagine our lives without you!

As you can tell it was on big fun party!! We love Noah so much and are so excited that he is 3 years old!! I just asked him what the best thing about being 3 is and he said that he gets to go on air plane now that he is a big boy! And going to the park with Max! I hope he knows just how much I love him and that even though I am happy he is growing up it is also a little sad to see the little bits of toddler and a babyhood leaving him as the days go by! Love you Super Noah!!

Noah Dean Harris 2 years and 10 months old!

Oh my sweet Noah. Where do  I begin?? Currently at this phase of life a few words that come to mind to describe this blonde haired brown eyed boy are....

Crazy
Wild
Active
Constant
Destroyer
Loving
Rough
Relentless
Energetic

Noah is everywhere. He is so your typical 2 year old but maybe 100 times worse then you are thinking. He is constantly moving, well running, and running away from you. He is playful and joyful but OH SO much work!! Every time it gets a tiny bit quite my heart skips a beat in panic and I will say "Where is Noah?" We have had so many times where he has run off and we can't find him because he is hiding from you, or just to far away to hear me yelling for him to come back.

Noah loves to be chased, wrestled, and tackled. He likes to play rough and loves to be in the thick of it all. He loves to play with Max and you can always find him following him along copying whatever Max is doing or saying. That being said, Noah can take Max down whenever he wants, he knows just how to push his older brothers buttons!! He is a stinker and he knows it!

Noah has an infectious laugh and smile. He still has that big toothy grin that is so dang cute that even when he is being naughty its hard not to laugh at him or smile back, which he loves! Sometimes when he is doing something particularly naughty and your looking at him telling him to stop he will blink his eyes in a funny way, almost like batting his eyelashes, which are long and beautiful might I add. Its hard not to laugh, he is irresistibly cute!

Noah loves to be read to. Usually if he is mad about something or needs to be distracted you can get him to sit down and read some books. He will sit for a long time reading books and gets mad if you get distracted...he'll yell "TALK TALK" and hit the book until you start again. He loves the Olivia books, any type of flap book, and this one book called "Where's the cake" that has no words just a story with pictures that he will sit and point out all the different things in it. He loves going to the Library and picking out new books. My mom will take him lots of times in the evening while Im trying to get the other kids to bed, because Noah goes to be at a different time.

Speaking of SLEEP, Noah has been a bit difficult in that area. He is a great sleeper, it's just that he is in the phase of still needed good naps, but then if he naps he is up till 10, 11, or even midnight if he's in the mood! He has been taking 3 hour naps for a long time and if he doesn't get a nap he will tend to fall asleep in his high chair during dinner! It is a rough balance because he is a monster without a nap but then most nights I need a break and don't want him up with me. Some days are better then others but for a while I just took full advantage of the nap then planned to just play with him alone with Max went to bed. He finally learned to climb out of his pack-in-play about 2 months ago...it was a sad day indeed! He now sleeps in the bottom bunk with Max. Its pretty funny actually but they seem to be doing well and like the cuddling together. He still sneaks into our room a few days a week and sleeps between Larry and I. Some days i notice because I can hear his pitter patter of the running feet down the hall and some mornings I wake up with a snoring Noah right next to my face :)

Noah is a really good eater when he wants to be. I usually can get an egg down him, cheese, turkey, pasta, yogurt, and he LOVES his bottle and pacifier...something we need to get rid of soon. He can be bribed really well with Cheetos or any other type of chip. He likes all types of things and is more willing to try food then any other kid.

Noah misses Max when he goes to preschool but we have a good routine down and get some alone time with scout in tow. We go to target together a lot or run other errands. Noah loves to watch Frozen and eat popcorn in the shopping cart and talks to me about Elsa and Olaf. He freezes me with his hand and sips on my diet coke. That boy has it good!

He loves to play hide and seek and will hide under peoples covers especially under the fitted sheet. He thinks it is SO funny to be found. He is very ticklish under his armpits and has a tendency to take all his clothes off and run around naked multiple times a day. He always tells me his clothes are "TOO TIGHT" in a very whiny voice.  There are days when I dress him then walk out of a room and not more then 2 minutes later he has stripped down naked.

One afternoon I was putting Scout down for her nap. It took me about 10 minutes to help her then I came out to a huge mess that Noah has made. He has taken some styrofoam inserts that were on a bookcase and decided to completely destroy them making a HUGE white mess everywhere. I came out to fine him completely naked making snow angels with the white fluff. It was ALL over my house. I took a picture and sent it to Larry and the to my mom. She texted me back saying "please don't kill noah."

I love this little boy fiercely but sometimes its hard to balance the love with the frustration. Its hard to not get mad or irritated when he is continually on the go. I have to take deep breaths, remember this won't last long and just hug and kiss him a lot! And write down the good days so when I do want to kill him I will remember he is really cute and sweet.

Noah turns 2!! A Mickey and Minnie Celebration!!

Cortney and I decided a few months ago to throw a joint party for Noah and Cambria. We would be inviting the same people anyways and they are only 3 days apart and we thought it would be so fun and cute to do a Mickey and Minnie party for them. We sent out the cutest mickey invites we made them to look like his head and then decorated our house so fun and cute.

We had tables inside for everyone to eat, we served hot dogs (like the song from the show) and lots of different yummy foods. The plan was for the kids to just play outside. Sadly after months of California not raining we got RAIN and a lot of it the day before and the day of the party. I was a bit panicked because we did have a ton of people coming and the rain was not letting up. We decided just to put lots of toys in the front room, move all the furniture out of the back den room and set up the tables there. It was still a lot of fun and we are thinking maybe we will do in every other year or something. It was fun celebrating Noah and Cambria with all our friends and family. We love these 2 and feel like they are close as siblings even though Noah says he is going to marry Cambria. We shall see!! Happy Birthday to these two. You guys are our favorite two year olds!!

Noah One Year Later

My baby Noah celebrated his 1st birthday 2 weeks ago. I find it fitting that I am just now documenting it,  poor second child. We really didn't celebrate being that everyone has been so sick. But luckily a week before I was lucky enough to get a 1st year shoot of him.

What can I say about this last year? Getting pregnant with Noah was a surprise being that it was weeks after Max turned 1, but little did I know he so needed to come to our family sooner rather then later. He really has been such a joy to have, and seeing him and Max interact these last few months, and especially when he stared to walk has made the surprise even sweeter.

He is almost walking, very smiley, and finally sleeping 12 hours a night! He loves his pacifiers which is nice after having Max not take them, and he loves sitting forward facing in the car. He is the sweetest, cuddliest, animal loving boy out there. I feel a bit bad his life hasn't been documented as much as Max's BUT I have been busy living everyday in the moment taking care of these sweet brothers. I am overwhelmed with love and joy that even though it is hard I get to stay home everyday with them. I feel so lucky, and I hope years from now they will too. I can't wait to see what the next year brings for Noah. I am sure he will quickly be running after his brother and establishing his personality and place in our little family. Happy 1st birthday Noah!

My New 8 Month Old...

My sweet Noah turned 8 months today! So much has happened these last months, and I can't believe how fast it has gone by. I sounds cliche but really it is going way to fast! Slow down baby! Noah is such a happy smiley boy who loves to laugh, and get lots of attention! He really is such a bright spot in my life, and everyday I am so grateful I am his mom!

8 months round up...

  • Weights 21 pounds
  • Wears 12 month clothes and proudly.
  • takes 2 long naps during the day
  • Has 5 teeth!! He was a vampire up top for awhile but now his front teeth are coming in. Funny right? Whose baby gets their side teeth first?
  • Still doesn't sleep through the night :) He loves seeing me at least once still.
  • Crawls everywhere! He is so fast and busy busy busy!
  • Can pull himself up pretty much on everything especially the couch.
  • babbles constantly and loves to scream.
  • smiles constantly.
  • loves food! Especially sweet potatoes and crackers.
  • loves putting things into his mouth...drives me nuts.
  • loves taking baths with his brother, hes a huge hazard in there!
  • Can climb the stairs {brand new skill today!} has no clue how to get down.
  • Responds to his name.
  • crawls after Max like a little puppy dog.
  • wants to be right in the thick of the action from folding laundry to cleaning the bathroom.
There is so much to say and remember about this boy. He is so busy, I feel like I am wrestling him into his clothes and diapers. He is a chunky heavy boy, and every time I hoist him into a shopping cart while he is in his car seat, I keep thinking my arms will pop off. He is a heavy breather, and has a loud squeaky laugh. He has dark eyes but they are not blue or brown...how knows yet.

I am so in love with this boy! I love staying home with my boys, I feel so grateful to be there everyday for them the good and the bad. I want to remember so much, I feel like already things are being forgot. I    can't believe that 8 months ago I pushed him out...and the wham he is turning into this little boy. He loves to be talked to, and he loves playing with Max. Max is starting to get better at sharing and I love hearing him say "Come here Noah" in his little toddler voice. I wouldn't have these guys any other way. {most of the time...maybe a little less cranky sometimes}

Noah, your amazing please keep being so awesome because I can't get enough of you!
Look at those teeth!! I have decided once your baby has teeth and can climb the stairs it's time for a new baby! I think Noah and Max are ready for some more playmates!

Dear Children,

Please take your naps.
Your mom has a ton of things to do and nap time was her saving grace,
until you boys decided to stop naping, or fight it for a good 2 hours until at last this mom gives up.
BUT not today little ones! I will not be beat. So please stop your screaming and close those sweet eyes and let your chubby bodies get heavy and the deep breathing commence  I will proceed to do a happy dance, and then go about the 100 million things on my TO DO list.

Thank boys, mommy loves you.

7 Quickest Months Of My Life...

I blinked my eyes and this sweet baby is turning into a big baby faster then I would like. Seriously Noah, I just felt like I found out I was pregnant with you and then WHAM you are now 7 months old! I think that time is speeding up more with this baby more then with Max.  He is doing things quicker and sooner then Max did, and Im pretty sure its because he has such a great big brother to show him the way! I could not ask for a more happy and content baby. He is so chubby and kissable. I love to hold his huge body and give him kisses. He gets so excited when he gets attention he screams and laughs and gets a good grip on my hair. How is it that babies are stronger then me?

At 7 months my sweet Noah is...
Amazing
So Smiley
Even tempered exempt when hungry
crawling
has 2 bottom teeth
takes 3 naps and sleeps mostly all night
loves to eat!
loves to put anything into his mouth
pinches
screeches for joy
loves to get his tummy blown on
is SO wiggly and never stops moving
loves taking baths and making tons of splashes with Max
loves to roll over while I change his diaper, or put clothes on
never cries to get out of his crib unless he wants food
loves his dad and brother
still can hang in the jumper for a good hour
will lay on his back and kick his feet forever
has the strongest little grip...those cubby fingers hold on tight!
loves to take walks in the stroller
coos and is starting to babble

I love this little Noah of mine! He is mine! I am so over joyed that he has come to our family. Even last night while doing a 5 am feeding (he slept 8 hours hurray!) I went back to bed and said a small prayer of gratitude not only for Noah but for both my boys. Some days I want to pull my hair out when I am tired or everyone is fussy, but most days I hang with them both, play with them, read stories, and be their mom. It is amazing to see how they are growing strong and healthy! I'm sad to see Noah turn into more of a big baby and then toddler. As I watch his babyness go away as he becomes mobile it makes my heart break a little but I am excited for the relationship that him and Max will develop as he is able to play more with Max and they grow up together. He is such a sweet baby and I cannot believe how fast these 7 months have flown by! Happy 7 months old Noah Dean.

Check him out 7 months old!! 21 pounds of pure awesomeness!

6 Sweet Months.

Oh my Noah. You are the smiliest, sweetest, little chubby baby, and I am so in love with you. I am SO lucky to be this boys mom. He has added so much to our family, and I could never imagine my life without him.
 At 6 months Noah can:
-Roll all over. Its how he gest around the house.
-Sit up for a good 10 minutes.
-Finally only gets up once for a 5 am feeding.
-Love his baby food especially pears.
-Weights 20 pounds.
-Will be bumped up to size 3 diapers.
-Wears 9-12 month clothes.
-Loves to suck on his toes.
-Screeches and babbles.
-Is SO smiley.
-Loves his brother and the attention that he gets from him.
-Has his first tooth! His bottom left tooth broke recently.
-Loves to take baths with his brother and is dangerously wiggly in the tub.
-Takes 3 naps a day and always cries forever before he falls asleep :)

I love this little boy so much. I could never imagine being able to love another child other then Max, but man my heart has just grown and is SO full of love for them both. When things are good around our house they are REALLY good and It makes me want to sing from the roof tops and take on the world having like 10 more babies. But when they both are screaming and crying and Im fizzling I bite my tongue  BUT if all my babies could be as lovely and chubby as my Noah I say bring them on!

Noah Dean you are so sweet and happy and I have LOVED these last 6 months. Really where has the time gone? I am happy to celebrate your half birthday and mug on your chubby checks and kiss the your neck as you scream in delight and kick your chubby legs because your so excited.

Picture repeat of sweet Noah...but really how could you not want to look at that adorable face all day long? Here is a secret...he is even more adorable when he is sleeping because who doesn't love watching your precious babe sleep...especially when he was screaming for so long and then that peace that comes afterward! Heaven!

Noah Dean 5 Months Strong!

Let me tell you how much I love this baby. He has really started to become the happiest little babes in the world. He is all smiles, coos, and laughs most of the day. This is a drastic change to the first couple of fussy months. He is the happiest when he has just woken up from a long nap, when he is jumping away in his jumper, and when he has someone constantly talking to him. His face lights up when he gets attention and he has the best toothless grin around.

Who knew a fat short bolding baby could make my life so complete. He has the best thunder thighs around and loves to get his cubby fists full of my hair...boy he has a tight little grip! He loves to put everything in his mouth, and will bend as far as his body will let him to suck on his toes. He loves to be in his jumper it has been the best thing. He will just jump, sit, stand, and twirl for literally hours in it while we all walk and run around him. He loves to watch everyone in our house, and he especially loves when someone picks him up and gives lots of kisses. He can roll all around the room and is really trying to push himself everywhere with his legs. He can kinda sit up but his belly is pretty big and his topples over a lot still.

He is taking 3 great naps, but is yet to sleep more then 6-7 hours for us at night. 5 am is sometimes a stretch for him and we still have multiple nights where I am up twice. I'm kinda dying but I haven't got the nerve to let him cry it out just yet. He is still swaddled but will break out his little hands throughout the night. He is still sleeping on the landing of our stairs at night and I do look forward to putting him in an actual crib in an actual room when my brothers for back to school this week. He loves to eat pears and bananas and sometimes I swear the kid wants whatever I am eating but not just yet!

Oh sweet Noah, keep it up boy because you are making me want lots more delicious babes. Thanks for your slobbery kisses and your screams of happiness. I hope we can get some more hair on that head of yours, and figure out what color your eyes are! Please stop growing because it's going by WAY to fast!

{So as you can tell I really love to document each month of my little growing boys life. I did the same thing for Max until he turned 2. It truly is such a great gift to be able to look back and see each month how they developed and have one little post dedicated just towards their development. Let me tell you with #2 it has been fun to compare and contrast with all of Max's stats}

Noah Dean @ 4 Months Old...

My sweet Noah has become or really has always been a bit grumpy borderline colicky baby. This month has really been no different but I am hoping he takes a turn for the better soon! He is all smiles though when he is actually happy and has the best little laugh and high pitched squeals. He kicks his legs when he is really excited and arches his back and screams when he is mad. He hates being put in his carseat but usually calms down for the ride. He loves to have constant attention, being held, and having someone talk to him. He is FINALLY sleeping about 7 hours straight at night and takes 3 really great naps during the day. We have finally gotten into a great routine and schedule and I even have both him and Max on the same afternoon nap schedule...if that isn't heaven I don't know what is!

Noah is one big chunky baby weighing in at over 15 pounds and is drooling up a storm. He can roll from his tummy to his back, kick his away around a blanket, grab toys, and loves to play with his feet. He is a good little people watcher and in particular loves to watch Max run all around him. He loves to narrow into my neck and suck on any thing he can.  He is sadly always a little bit stuffy due to the teething, which makes him sound like a little piggy all the time, and he hates his syringe bulb I use to help clear his air ways. He has the fatest cheeks and the biggest thighs and my arms get a great work out as I carry him all day long. He also loves to stand up in his jumper and has started eating rice cereal and pears. My little baby is growing up!

I love having him in our lives, and I can't really picture our life without him or before he was born, funny how that happens. I love when he is happy and his big smiles just melt my heart. I am sad he is getting to be so big as I packed away all his 3-6 months clothes and busted out the 6 months, I felt my heart break a little as his little babyness is fading away, but I know whats ahead of us and thats pretty great too! Heres to 4 months down! We have made it past the sleep deprivation, lots of crying, and are now into a great routine which will inevitably be broken once teething starts and he learns to break his swaddle but I'm loving how things are now!

15 Week Stats

We finally got to the Dr. today for Noahs 2 month appointment...yes a month late, but no harm done. I wanted to document his stats at 15 weeks old, because you know how big of a milestone that is {with Max as his brother sometimes making it to another day is a big deal} I am still in shock of how fast 15 weeks have gone by. It feels like Noah has always been apart of our family, I told Larry the other day I couldn't remember what it was like to only have one child...its the sleep depravation talking probably.

At 15 weeks Noah Weights 15 pounds 1 ounce and is 25 inches long! He is one big chunk, looking back at my stats Max weighed that much around 6 months. I contribute it to all that nursing he does at all hours of the night. He also is falling right in line with having a big o' head like his brother. His head is proudly in the 80th percentile. He is a slobbery, teething, fussy mess of a boy but we sure love him.

Also as a side note my hair is starting to fall out...you know your baby is growing up and no longer a newborn with the clumps of hair are coming out in the shower. No one ever tells you the awesome things your body does after your have a baby right?

Noah Dean At 3 Months...

Look who is 3 months old. Really Noah did it have to go by so fast? Noah has turned into such a little chunk in a matter of weeks. He so sweet and those cheeks are so kissable. Noah has learned to smile really well, and can recognize faces well and track people as they move about the room from his bouncy chair. He loves to smile and coo and blow bubbles from his little lips.

He sadly is not sleeping through the night for me but will typically do a 5 hour stretch, eat, and then go back to sleep. He loves sleeping swaddled and on his side, not his back just propped up on his side, its kinda funny sight. He sleeps in his baby bed or on the boppy pillow still. He is into a good nap time routine being up 1-2 hours then down for 2 sometimes 3 hours in the afternoon. Max and him are now on the same 1-4 nap schedule which is so nice! {I am blogging this as they sleep peacefully in their beds}

He has started to drool like a dog, its everywhere which makes me suspicious that I will have another early teether on my hands. Heaven help us all, this mom hates teething. He loves to nurse until the milk runs out then he cries frantically until I make him a bottle.  He eats so much I feel like I am constantly eating and yet its not enough. He gets pretty exciting when he starts to see me lift up my shirt, he will kick his legs frantically and screech until he has made contact. Nothing is better though when he is satisfied and in his milk coma being held in my arms doing his half smile as he drifts off to sleep.

I love his wet little lips and how when you go to give him a kiss close to his face he automatically opens his mouth searching for something. He has started to discover he can coo and make a little noise, and he is laughing pretty good. No better sound then a laughing baby right? His hands have started to relax, not in little fists as much, and he has discovered he can suck on them when he is hanging in his chair or swing.

I love my little Noah, and I can't wait to see how he grows and develops in the coming months, but its bitter sweet to say the least. These last three months have been so amazing getting to hold him and love him. I love how Max is stating to get protective of "his baby" and how he likes to "help" me change his diaper or put his pacifier in his mouth. I hope through the months and years they become the best of brothers.  Heres to another month down Noah!

2 Month Old Noah.

Today sweet boy turned 2 months old. Oh I just want him to stay a little baby forever he is so squishy and lovely and adorable. I am in love with his little double chins and his legs and arms that are starting to fill out. He has a strong head that he can lift very well and loves to stand on his long feet. He has soft clear skin, and cubby cheeks I could kiss all day.

He is starting to respond to my voice and can track me when I love around the room. He is full of smiles, those toothless little smiles are the best. He is starting to coo and gurgle and occasionally you can tickle him and get a laugh. He is eating constantly and is still nursing good which is nice for me. He has really chunked up and I sadly packed away his little premie and newborn clothes the other day. He resembles Max a lot I think and his head is looking pretty big.

I think he favors Larry because those dads just have the right touch when it comes to cranky tired babies. Every time he is held, or wrapped by Larry he is out for a good nap shortly after. He loves getting baths from his dad and would sleep on his chest all night long if I allowed it.

My favorite thing to do is hold him after he is nice and full and he is so content. I love to stroke his soft head and to rub his torso because he gets all squirmy and seems to like it. I love to unwrap him from his tight swaddle and watch him stretch his arms and legs out one limb at a time. He is still up in the night 1-2 times and still grunts a ton but I know as he grows all these little things will change, but I am still pretty tired all day.  I want to capture all the great things about him and his babyness because before I know it he will be big. Oh I could just kiss him and hold him forever.
