My kids kinda have a problem. They love to be naked. We have a very laze-fair parenting style when it comes to little boys in the backyard being naked. My policy is they are little it isn't hurting anyone and by the end of a hot day I would want to take off my clothes too if I could. These boys spend the better half of the day outside in the back playing with water. Filing up buckets, dumping them out, playing with water toys you name it they are doing it, and usually half naked or fully like Max. We have nudists and I kinda love it. I sit and watch and let them play. They can only be naked and free like this for so many years until it because socially unacceptable so for now it flies. So if you come by our house in the late afternoon after naps and before dinner this is what you'll find.

Noah's New Cheese Face.
They are a little blurry because he moves so much but every time I say smile he squints his eyes and opens his mouth real big...look at all those teeth!! This boy is full of energy and very naughty but in a cute sometimes hard to discipline way. Oh boy he is going to be a handful now that he is one the move. He runs everywhere and climbs onto everything. He doesn't let me get much done most days because I am busy cleaning up the mess that he just made. He still sleeps in the pack in play in my parents closet and loves his pacifier. Sometimes it is hard to get a shot of him without it in his mouth, but also it keeps us safe from his biting! We are working on that and hope it is a phase, but with a big mouth full of teeth I can't really blame him.

Max Turns 3!!!
We did a low key birthday party for Mr. Max at the splash pad with all his cousins. I only got a few shots of him opening his presents, Oh well I will learn the more birthdays he has! I had been feeling sad about him turning 3 and wasn't wanting to do much, also I really worry about them getting over spoiled and he is 3 for goodness sakes but I always think a birthday should be celebrated. He had a ton of fun playing in the water with his cousins and eating cake and ice cream. He got lots of different trash trucks, and a fun new castle he can play with his action figures and knights he has. He is really into playing with toys, and as you can see wouldn't even look at me or Larry to smile to take pictures!! Happy Birthday dear Max!
This is him, with the help of his cousins opening his castle!! He was pretty thrilled with it. The wrapping is a crack up because the castle was actually found at a yard sale for $5 bucks I was so excited because it normally is $50 but we had to improvise on the wrapping because we didn't have a big enough box. He never knew nor cared. That is the great thing about 3 year old.
And then the trash trucks, Once he has those open there was no going back, he didn't want to have anything to do with anyone, only wanted to play with all those things. He is obsessed with them and says he wants to be a garbage man when he grows up!
He was so excited to get all these trash cans to add to his collection, and put stinky things that need to be thrown away in them! You can see sweet Aubrielle trying to look at the camera, I am telling you he has such a one track mind!

Max Harris At 3 Years Old!
Max Harris at his 3 year old check up
Stats
Weight: 28 pounds
Length: 34.5 inches
Happy Birthday to my favorite 3 year old!! I can't believe that I gave birth to this beautiful little boy 3 years ago. So much has changed for us, our lives use to be so carefree with only school to really worry about, now there is still school but our entire world is revolved around this guy and his brother! What a blessing he has been to my life. I love him more then words can adequately describe, It's a mothers love that I truly only think parents can understand. Here are some of my favorite things about Max!....
- Loves being a big brother
- Loves the color blue
- Is obsessed with garbage trucks and tractors, really any big piece of machinery
- Super predictable..not really flexible but I try my hardest to meet all his needs
- Is a picky eater--something I dislike but will eat from his little snack box good
- Loves going on walks in the stroller!
- Will play outside for hours at a time
- Includes Noah in everything
- Every morning without fail we go outside to see the garage man come get out trash and we sit and wave as he gathers all the garbage in the court
- Would watch a construction sight like it was a TV show
- Loves Super Why, and this new show Paw Patrol
- Loves toys and would play in a toy isle at Target for hours if I let him
- Thinks his grandpa and grandma are the best people to live with
- Loves his baby blanket still, goes everywhere with us
- Still takes a bottle at night, we are having a hard time giving that one up!
- Loves being around other kids especially his cousins
- Loves going to the park even if we go every day he is still excited to go again
- Still hates and is deathly scared of dogs
- Favorite food Cheetos, or chicken nuggets
- Hates chocolate
- Loves ice cream!!
- Has an amazing memory for things, I can't believe the detail of things he will remember
- Still sleeps in his crib and takes one afternoon nap a day, sometimes he wants to sleep in the big bed in his room but only if your with him
Max is such a great kid. He can be hard, and is still growing and figuring out things. He isn't flexible once we have done something one way, in his mind that is the way it should be done forever. He is funny and has the best smile and bright blue eyes! I love being his mother and have learned a lot of patients and have had to dig deep inside sometimes during the tantrums and meltdowns that will happen. I know though he is getting better at things like walking on grass or sticky hands so there is hope!
Happy Birthday my dearest Max. I love you so much. I love your sweet smile that is slow to come sometimes. You are shy and tender hearted but also starting to get a big confident in different things. You are so smart and I can't wait to see what you do in the next few years! We love you so very much and appreciate your patients with us, sometimes being the first kid is hard, we are trying everything out on you, but you've been awesome and we love you more then you know!

My current View...
Right now I am doing dishes from the kitchen sink. I can look our the window and watch the boys playing together in their trampoline. What a view! I love these 2 with all my heart. It is exhausting being their mother but I love them so much, at the end of the day it is nice to see them playing together and loving each other. It is hard to have them so close in age, but I know it is worth it. They are quickly becoming best friends. Also tomorow Max tuns 3 and I am NOT ready for it to happen. Let's freeze time just for now right?! Stop growing little people!

Watermelon Love!
You know it is summer when the watermelon makes it's debut. Max loves himself some of it, can't you tell? He is a picky eater, but man when he likes something he goes full force. I let him eat it whenever and mainly outside because it gets pretty sticky and messy if its nice and juicy.
Noah is just getting the hang of this eating with all those teeth but he is loving feeling like a big boy sitting at the little play table! He is so cute and looking more like a toddler everyday. The more big kid things he does the less baby he is to me. We do think though he is allergic to watermellon slightly because he was covered in big red welts later on his chest. I will still let him eat it as long as they don't bother him because it is hard to say no to something he likes and that face? right?!! Love him and look forward to our summer with him!

Stollin' Buddies
These boys love their strollers. I am teaching them how to be good dads future wives! It cracks me up they go around pushing them all over the house...I am totally bummed this first picture is blurry but I can't delete it because through the blur you see Noah's smiling face which I love!!
Max is improvising since we have no babies in this house we use the next best thing all the stuft animals that are around! They are just to cute. Maybe I'll get them some actual dolls so they can practice playing dad and stroll those around next. Just a typical day in our house. Noah half naked and lots of playing happening.

Biker Babe Noah.
This kid is killin it in his one piece bathing suit. He is in such a funny stage and his personality is starting to really shine through. He is naughty and he knows it and thinks it is so funny. He is playful and could careless that I am trying to teach him what is right and wrong. He wants to do what Noah wants to do. He has been named the devil child. Look at the devilish smile and good looks?? Really who could pull that off? Only a naughty little devil boy! Please be kind to me Noah, your mom can only take so much mischief and damage. He loves to just pull everything out of anything and make a mess. He smiles his big toothy grin and thinks all is right in his world. Oh boy he is just getting started and entering a very long and difficult stage of babyhood and toddler hood. Heaven help me I have a devil baby on the loose!
Also his new blue jelly sandals might be the best things every made. Stuffed into this little fat feet! Oh he is just too cute.
